My  Rice Experiment
Source information for this experiment is from the movie "Water, the Great Mystery" by Intention
Media. The original experiment was conducted by Dr Masaru Emoto of Japan. Here is his
website... http://www.masaru-emoto.net/english/e_ome_home.html.
My Experiment

I did my experiment as outlined on the previous page. I set up the beakers in our china
cabinet and then moved them when the odor arrived. Kansas in the summer time can get
to 100 degrees easily on any given day. Therefore the rice and water was exposed to
much less than ideal conditions. In the film, it still shows water in the beakers after 30
days. My beakers did not. Too hot. However, the results were very similar to Dr Emoto's.
Click on the picture to see the full resolution picture. The first beaker where I said 'thank
you' was very clean with more of a fermenting odor, even after 40 days. The second
beaker where I said 'you're an idiot' rotted into a dark gray/black powered and at 40 days
has almost completely disintegrated. The third 'ignored rice' had some kind of brownish
mold or fungus maybe. And both had a very bad smell not like the first one. The first
beaker of rice poured out onto the plate as you see in the picture. Neither of the other two
would come out.
